An established and innovative company is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to join their team. This is an opportunity for a Fire Alarm Technician to become integral to a team who values integrity and rewards dedication and innovation.
Fire Alarm Technician Duties:
- Perform installations, testing and repairs on fire alarms systems.
- Install wire, conduit, and devices per documents, drawings, and company standards.
- Support on call service requirements.
- Provide training and support to customers on operations of systems.
- Remain current on all training, certifications, licensing, and safety requirements.
Fire Alarm Technician
Qualifications:
- Knowledge in fire and safety systems
- Experience in Mechanics and Electronics field required
- Prior experience in commissioning, service, and or maintenance required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Mechanical and Electrical aptitude
- MS Office Applications
- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties
- Effective communication skills
- Motivated self-starter
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- NICET II Certification or two years in the Security Service Tech industry
- Understanding of building codes
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Must possess a valid driver's license
